Mobile Bioenergy Lab at ISEA 2015
DPrime will be taking the Mobile Bioenergy Lab to ISEA 2015 (http://isea2015 NULL.org), August 14-19 in Vancouver. We will be running a workshop on constructing microbial fuel cells and exhibiting/performing with the MBL in Charleston Park on False Creek, as part of the Oscillations (http://locomotoart NULL.weebly NULL.com/oscillations NULL.html) exhibition. DPrime has been in a state of quasi-hibernation over the past year but we’ve still been busy. Our new project, Mobile Bioenergy Lab, is currently under development. Look for it at ISEA 2015 in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Biopoiesis was recently exhibited at the Scarfone/Hartley Gallery at the University of Tampa. Castellanos & Barnes also gave an artist talk at the gallery on the opening night of the exhibition.
DPrime Presentation at IMAC/Re-new 2012
DPrime Researcher-Theorist/President Carlos Castellanos presented at the IMAC/Re-new Festival of Digital Art (http://re-new NULL.org/) in Copenhagen, Denmark recently. Castellanos discussed Biopoiesis and its larger cybernetic context, which fit very nicely with the conference theme: “Cybernetics revisited – towards a third order?”
